Hello Tuesday! I’m so excited for the next few days along with the long Memorial Day weekend – I can hardly contain my excitement. My good friend, Amy is getting married this Friday and I’m so excited to be a bridesmaid in her wedding – she was after all a bridesmaid in my wedding. But a Friday wedding means taking off a few extra days to make my Memorial Day weekend extra long which is long overdue:)
Hello fitness fanatics! I’m hoping you all have had a great week so far and are feeling ready to take on the world:) That’s exactly how I’ve been feeling these last couple of days as well. I was able to squeeze in a great HIIT workout bright and early this past Saturday morning, started setting up Baby S’s nursery on Saturday and Teddy and I tried a (new to us) BBQ place in Minneapolis right by our house. On Sunday I volunteered with the Special Olympics of Minnesota at our local area’s track and field event in the morning, taught Strictly Strength and did a ton of other errands and things around the house that HAD to get done.
I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day and got to spend it with your mom and/or kids this past Sunday. But believe me, I’m in the same boat as you wishing it was still the weekend or that we had just one more day off to enjoy the awesome Minnesota weather we’ve been having. I for one had an amazing weekend. It was very low-key and I spent most of my time at home which is sometimes just what you need after a long, busy week.
